'64-'66 T-Birds, 1969-70 Mach 1's, '70 Torino GT. Those T-Birds had a badd asss interior. The speedo in those cars was actually a red line that went horizontal across the dash and little pods with all the engine info (temps, pressure etc.), and had sequential tail lights in 1965....Also had a steering wheel column that moved left and right to help the driver get behind the wheel...not up and down like todays cars have. The consoles were cool as well and the backseats curved around and felt like bucket seats. Dad had a '64....If I had the space I'd love to find one and redo it....they're fairly cheap compared to other cars to fix/hop/ up.
The odd thing about those Mustangs and Torinos was that stripe they had going down the flanks.....the black stripes actually reflected silver at night when headlights shown on them....never figured that one out. A Mach I with the hood scoop and rear window slats was pretty cool, same with those Torino GT's.....you never see those Torinos....hard to find.
