Hell of a weekend for JamesJM, or I should say my grandsons, or rather both of us.

In over 12 years of watching Kerman Youth Football play our arch rival Kingsburg I had seen less than the fingers on one hand number of victories. Usually we get swept, almost always in fact. That is... Pee Wee's, Juniors, and Seniors. Yesterday we swept them. And not just that...

All three Kerman teams finished the season undefeated.

Yesterday my youngest grandson, Elijah, scooped up a fumble and returned it for a TD on the Pee Wee team... he was thrilled, it meant 'free ice cream' after the game. Yes, at 9 years old he has his priorities straight.

In over 12 years I have never seen one Kerman championship in Tri-County League Youth Football... only a handful of times have we even played for the championship.. THIS year we have 3 undefeated teams ready to make the attempt starting next week.
