yea , sounds fairly common I guess , not saying it happens every year , but yea , sounds common , but to be honest , I haven't paid that much attention
although we're not going to get the snow they are to the north west of us ,
they are putting advisories out for high school football games tomorrow night , with lows around 30 degrees , but with 40-50 MPH winds , which will put the windchill around 10 degrees
but yea , I remember when I was in high school football , playing in 6 inches of snow , probably would have been more , but the ground hadn't froze yet , so some of it melted when hitting the ground , which let me tell , makes a sloppy mess of the field........................lol
also remember one game when the kids standing the sideline had like a 1/2 of ice developed on their face masks
