My most embarrassing gig moments...

Usually occurring at 2am. 
We'll play a song in which the drums are fast and loud... (not necessarily drum solos), and I'll just really mess it up. It happens. After -
Someone is the crowd, usually the drunkest one, will occasionally come up and say something like "Oh man, you're a great drummer".
To myself I'm thinking, "Great? I should have been fired for that garbage". Out loud I just say, "Thanks, man".
By the way... the new electronic kit is working. I have them set up in my office so I'll sit and play 5 or 6 times a day.. (well, not when I was in Colorado ). It's coming around, Steve. I'm having to change my style a bit to get the most out of the kit but it's paying off. I'm getting the feel of them, stick response, and it's amazing how improved I am after just a month or so. I love that with the wealth of different sounds I can produce I can compensate for what I've lost in technique by the diversity of sound I can create. Most of all... I'm having fun. - JamesJM
