as most of my concert times were in my late teen early 20 period all of the concerts were in the same vein of music...earsplitting and words mostly incomprehensible....So I guess I would go with one of the latest we've gone to the Stones playing at the Carter Finley Stadium in Raleigh (NC State home)...but Steely Dan was good as well, more subdued...playing in front of like 2500 people in a local theater.
As far as ambience would go I'd say Dave Mason and Steve Cropper playing on a stage with a lake behind the sage and trees surrounding the stage with spanish moss hanging from the limbs.....lights shimmering off the lake, wind shuffling the moss....
