I get possession one week a year.
Wait, that's actually not very funny.
I'm a farmer, WAS a farmer. I noticed long ago that 'old timers', (which I am now one of), would stick with a pickup forever... dents, scratches, all the scars of battle....and I used to wonder 'why'? I no longer wonder why. I have a Ford F150... 2006... until I bought it I would buy a new pickup about every 3 years... I put a LOT of miles on my pickups when I farmed. But today?
The more dings, dents, scratches, the better... LOVE them. Hopefully it's the last pickup I ever buy.... doubt I even repaint it. Still has grease stains on the back seat from hauling cotton picker spindle bars to be repaired.... gives my backseat character as far as I'm concerned. Door compartments are full to the brim with WD-40... various tools... Engine Oil... transmission oil... spare fuses... I think an 8 year past expiration date granola bar or two. IOW, it's well stocked.
T-Shirts... never really wore them very often.... I have one, however, that I love but I can't tell you what it says on the front or Andy will delete my reply. - JamesJM
