I went all in, splurged on headphones...

Tough, impossible decision between the new Bose noise cancelling headphones and the Sony's. This is not a comparison post... both are amazing, I don't know that one is better than the other... after listening to both I chose the Sony's but could have chosen the Bose and been every bit as pleased.

I bought these headphones for two reasons.... 1st sound quality when listening to music. But perhaps more importantly... my hearing loss is NOT volume related... sounds jumble together for me... so any ambient noise turns everything I hear into one loud blur. Well guess what?

I can hear movie dialog again. I can listen to my music clearly with no interference. I had splurged once before and bought some Beats... I was not impressed. Plus, every pair of Beats in my household... all of them... and we're talking 6 pair, broke within a year.

Yup, maybe these Sony's will break too, knowing my luck they will... BUT...until then, they blow the Beats away and I'm loving them. - JamesJM
