Watched alcohol take out my Brother. It's a very helpless feeling. It goes way deeper than "getting help". Till the person is ready for it, there is nothing that can be done. Alcohol is just part of the problem. It includes emotional and biological needs most of us will never totally understand. A VERY sad and complicated issue. Though it hurts, just know he is free of a LOT of darkness. 8+ years later, I still hurt when I think of what my Brother went through.
