I know. It was a dark stormy night. My wife was out of town. Pepper (my dog) and I were sitting in front of the fireplace, drinking my favorite scotch-not Pepper, pondering the answers to life's persistent questions. Suddenly Pepper began howling-not barking-something I had never heard from her. She was looking out our back window and making these horrible howling sounds. I walked over to the window and saw "something" that was about 11 ft tall with several arms and legs and walking on the water in our pool. I should say gyrating as if dancing to my music. When he -or she-began to beckon me to join "it" I quickly closed the curtains , locked all the doors, and took Pepper into the bedroom with me. When I awoke "it" was gone.
