Wiffie and I were in Port Aransas, Mustang Island walking on the beach about 11:00, beautiful star filled night, not a sole in sight, arm in arm, having one of those married moments.
Barefoot in the sand and waves, when we saw a kinda large dark object half in the water and half out.
Ok, I'm thinking something like beached whale or dolphin or a pirates lost treasure chest.
We hurry over closer to the spot, mind you it's pitch black.
I pull out my trusty atomic beam flashlight.
It's a guy and a gal in a sleeping bag, right at waters edge, waves lapping up on them.
The girl (on top) just gives us that "REALLY" look.
"Ohhhh sorry, don't mind us, carry on" as we hurry away.........
