I have a lot of open spaces in me James. My wife and I and our dog just spent over 3 weeks in Cody, Wyoming and the Black Hills of So Dakota. Spent a week at a ranch in Cody and a week at a quarter horse ranch in So Dakota. Loved every second of the peace and quiet and nights w/o lights. Before my dad was killed during the war he had built most of a ranch outside of Grants Pass Oregon where he planned on raising me and my mother. Unfortunately, my mom was forced to move back to L.A. for work-and the rest is history. But I love the openness and quiet of being alone with my springer in the forest. Part of the reason I love diving is that we head out to an island (San Clemente Is) 60 miles out and find a cove where no one else is around. and at night the only thing that is seemingly near you are the stars at night and the island itself.

BTW: Anaheim (Disneland) is not L.A. It's in Orange County. So there !
