I remember reading Dune....

not long after it was first published. It was fantastic. I couldn't wait for the sequel. Then it came out and....

blah... I got thru it, barely. Then there was a third... and I once again I got excited.... certainly Herbert had atoned for his sins of writing the 2nd Dune novel and the 3rd would be great.

I never finished the 3rd Dune novel. I don't think I even got past page 50.

Oh well.... like I said, the first novel I thought was fantastic. Should make a great movie. - JamesJM
