but for whatever reason I do not own many of their products... for home use OR in our band. Probably the $ involved, they ain't cheap.
currently I have only some Bose headphones and I use Bose speakers in the rear for my stereo system. They are excellent.
We currently use JBL Caberet's for our main loudspeakers with two EV bass speakers. The Caberet's have been amazing.... not sure when we bought them but it had to have been mid-80's? And they are still going strong and 'repair' has been minimal.. never lost a speaker yet but a couple of the wire connections came loose and had to be re-soldered.
This is even more remarkable when you consider the hell we put them thru. We have hauled them into 4X4 access ONLY country and done so SEVERAL times... no damage. Same can be said for the EV's as well but our EV's are no where near as old.
Back to Bose.. I wouldn't be the LEAST bit hesitant to buy anything buy anything made by Bose.
