and it did NOT have a record player... although I can't be 100% sure about the record player... more like 90% sure. I can't say when we bought it... somewhere in the 1951-53 range. We had it until the mid-60's when we got our first color TV... "Hazel" was the first color TV show we saw... followed closely by Bonanza and Disney. I believe our 2nd TV was an RCA.... but oddly I don't remember it nearly as well as our first Motorola.
Machado's did have a son, and daughter. Son was "Manuel". But he was older than me.
