lol... and I rarely go to the movies... Maybe one a year... unless we are seeing a kids movie.
I went twice because 1. its a really good movie and 2. I'm not going to get to see Iron Man or Capt. again on the big screen. And the logic seems a bit off there because I have only seen Iron Man (the first one) at the theater. Something about not being able to see them again though...
The other thing abut this movie is that there is an emotional attachment from having 20 previous movies. You know the characters really well because you've seen them in several other movies. So someone watching this movie without the background will still likely think its a good movie but still miss a lot of meaning. So having seen all of them, sometimes several times, I get most of the references and I also understand the relationships that were developed, so a tear or two was shed by yours truly. And like going to the movies, me shedding a tear is a rare occurrence... although as I get older I notice I am getting choked up more than I used to.
And 3. I wanted to do my part to lower Avatar and Titanic on the charts... didn't care for either of those movies, lol ... although I do like DiCaprio.
