so before I get into my grandkids, , how is YOUR favorite team looking going into 2019?

Let's see... I know Frank and Vicki are Cardinal fans. Andy is a Yankee fan. Troy is an Angel fan. I have NO IDEA who those of you who live in those mid-states where no one goes root for.

I have no idea who I'll be rooting for this year which, I know, annoys the hell out of you true baseball fans... WHICH IT SHOULD. Plus, none of you want me rooting for YOUR team because I'm a fickle baseball fan and a 'phony'... I am NOT, however, a bandwagon fan. That said, I may get behind the Cards this year... I just won't tell Frank and Vicki... reason - been reading a little baseball history lately and other than the Yankees is there ANY team with more notable history than the Cardinals?

Ok...Grandkids... only have 2 playing this year. The youngest still refuses to play.. his choice. He'll be playing in a basketball league, (not school related), until this summer. HS Varsity... lots of potential but so far, pre-league games, they aren't clicking all that well... even though our pitching, which everyone thought would be weak, is actually turning out to be our strength. It's our bats that have fallen off. 3 basketball players who just finished their HS basketball season will be coming aboard, (grandson is one of them), and all 3 are starters so we'll see.

I was very confident about this year for our HS Baseball team but after these few pre-league games...I've cooled, considerably. Really like them to get it together, however... as that would mean my grandson will have played on a football team, basketball team, and a baseball team that made the valley championship tournaments.
