Juneau woke up with mad diarrhea Saturday morning spraying two bedrooms. Gross. Afterwards she proceeded to go on a hunger strike. We took her to the vet Saturday afternoon and they gave me 3 prescriptions along with a case of bland canned dog food. She refused to take the pills no matter how hard we tried to hide them and wrap them in other food (peanut butter, cheese, chicken, meatballs. She'd eat the chicken and meatballs and spit out the pill). Frank tried to cram a pill down her throat and she bit the tar out of his finger. She can be on the aggressive-side. Not cooperative at all. She's not drinking much water either so she's dehydrated. We took her back to the vet yesterday and they put her on IVs with antibiotics and kept her overnight. They did blood work and urinalysis and are waiting on the results. The vet thinks she has pancreatis so she's having an mri done today. We just took some cooked chicken and meatballs to them to see if she'll at least eat that. Not sure yet exactly what's wrong or how long she'll have to be in the animal hospital.
