One of my favorite artists -Harry Chapin-will always do that to me. His stories, sung to great folk music, seem to be about me. I love music and am looking forward to the Oscars tonight. My favorites are around music-of course. A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody.

For the first time ever... I am recording the Academy Awards tonight rather than watching it live. I've been watching the Academy awards every year since I was about 7 years old. I love everything about the Oscars. I'm even watching E! Countdown to the Oscars as I type this. But RAMbeau and I have gotten into watching the televised AAF games and there's a game on at the same time as the Oscars. My plan was to watch the game live and then watch the Academy Awards later. I'm torn. Not sure if I'll be able to NOT watch when it starts at 7 pm.
