We won the championship last year against Bakersfield Christian... this year... gonna take a miracle to beat them. They are loaded for bear.

It's the Semi-Finals, BTW.... CVC is looking very good in the other Bracket but I have a feeling Foothill may give them all they can handle. Don't know much about Foothill except they seem to be very up and down... but when they're up they're great.

I'm starting to get the 'baseball itch'. Kerman has played a couple games so far BUT... 3 of their starters are still playing basketball. Had a scare recently as our 'ace' pitcher came down with shoulder problems and the rumor mill had him potentially out for the season... latest word is, however, that he's ok, good to go... after a couple of weeks of therapy.

Take this next with a grain of salt... typical 'local' gossip... but apparently with some meat to it. We have a Freshman pitcher who is supposedly "THE" guy. Best since Carlos Salazar so they say. - JamesJM
