If it's a novel I feel certain I'm going to really enjoy I ALWAYS choose a book... not always a hardcover, I have found that softcover fits my reading style better BUT... it just seems wrong too me.
A Kindle, however, fills a niche for me... I've got an entire library at my disposal in one 'ebook', or Kindle. A lot of what I read is reference, history, and with a Kindle I can skip back and forth as my interest takes me.
Now if I'm in the mood for an old classic, one I haven't read OR one I have read... then you bet, I'm using a book.
MOST of the books I buy are paperbacks and that because I never know if I'm going to like them. If I do, and I mean REALLY like the paperback, I will often buy the hardcover edition.
