Just shot 100 rounds....

Thru my S&W Shield and man, this getting old bad eyesight thing is frustrating. From 30' I used to ALWAYS be in a 3" group... with an occasional goof to 5" but rarely.

Today? I just hope to keep it in the silhouette. I've tried those new shooting glasses that are like reading glasses but the magnification is at the top rather than the bottom... ehhhh, no better for me really. I can do just as well with my regular glasses tilting my head back to focus on the sights... BUT... shooting that way there is NO room for error.

I tried shooting without glasses today and I was ok... all in the silhouette but certainly no tight groups.

I don't know why but I can still shoot great with a shotgun. Went trap shooting a few weeks ago and hit every pigeon.... doubles, even a couple of triples. OH, sorry, I did miss one triple.

Sighted in my rifle this last autumn at 200yds and I can keep it in a 1" group, (prone and rested).

But a pistol? Those days are slowly passing me by. - JamesJM
