started a cooking class at the beginning of this school year, her freshman year in HS. Her teacher is my neighbor... but new, or somewhat new, to the neighborhood. Point is:

Sydney, (my granddaughter), LOVES the class and LOVES to have me pick something out in a cookbook, no matter how complex, then prepare it.. and she is EXCELLENT.

For NYE my family asked what I'd like to have... I chose 4 or 5 'unique' recipes, (unique to my household anyway)... and Sydney made them ALL... and every one was delicious. I'm in heaven...

but like all things.. there is a downside to this - and in this case it's utterly tragic. I have to start a diet. HAVE to. Just when a true 'chef' comes into my household I have to quit eating.
