that dissolve rather easily so you don't have that white, freaky look. I asked the lady dermatologist what she used as I knew she would want the kind that dissolved well and she would use top shelf sunscreen. Elta MD is really good-especially for the face and neck which is important area. I use other brands for my legs or hands.
I go to Hawaii all the time. I spend a lot of time in a cabana or under an umbrella, but I have and sun protected beach shirt for the ocean and a long sleeve tee for the board walk. Coolibar make some pretty cool sun clothes [

When i do yard work I wear a red stripe beer straw hat with a wide brim. It matches what I drink, so there is that.
I did the same as you, never wore sun block growing up (didn't even known what it was). I coached 20 years, spend a ton of time outdoors...never wore sunscreen. The skin cancer was a wake up call. Not to stay inside or avoid the outside, but just be a little more careful.
