I've wondered that, myself..

But something tells me they don't, because they were actually pretty dangerous.. Ya got fuel, spinning props, dizziness.. that's just a "get dizzy, fall over, cut out your eye with the prop, and lose your brain to the eventual explosion" type accident that somebody probably sued over, and made millions, years ago.. But man, they were cool.. I had a black German Albatross..
