Living in the Westside of Jacksonville.

It's cool to occasionally go by where the Van Zants grew up (REALLY rough neighborhood now!) ....to see some of the old bars where they played. I know where the bar is that was the focal point of "Gimme Three Steps". I have seen THE Oak tree that was in the way. I even graduated from Robert E Lee, where Leonard Skinner was the guys P.E. Coach. What is sad....VERY sad to me is what made the Westside of Jax THE WESTSIDE, is fading fast and essentially gone. NOTHING like it used to be.
