we've taken our granddaughter (9 and 10) to SpaceCamp in Huntsville Ala for a week at the NASA facility. They stay for a week and Barb and I rent a car and drive all through the south. This last summer we drove up to Kentucky to visit the race horse farms. Then down into Tennessee. The summer before we drove up through Georgia and the Smokey Mountains.

One thing that impresses a So Cal like me after driving through this part of the country. We live in a Dessert !!
