My mother in law won't watch Shawshank Redemption because of the violence and language etc.. I was trying to explain to her - last night actually - that its a movie with a great story that is uplifting and inspirational.. but, to truly get the good inspirational stuff, you hafta totally experience the bad stuff that they had to overcome..

Dog's Purpose is kind alike that.. there are some sad moments, but every time there is a sad moment, its immediately followed by happy moments.. that was the roller coaster of emotions I was referring to..
