this most represents how I see my home... there are other ways... but this one is best, IMHO.
The mountain you see in the background is called "Three Rocks"... and yes, I know you can see 4 rocks.. but that's because this angle is not common... from nearly anywhere else you see only 3. By the way, my mountain ranch is about 3 miles just on the other side and right of those rocks.
The crop is cotton... once king of my area but today sparsely grown... but for most of my life this was autumn, wall to wall cotton.. and the coast range mountains as a backdrop.
Wide open spaces... not as wide open as it used to be but still pretty darned wide open.
