3 grandson's are in the hunt. I've seen divisional championships but never an overall championship... after 12 years of following football.
Ashton - Seniors Youth Football - playoffs begin tomorrow. Chances? May win tomorrow although we lost to the same team last week... but close game. After that? Very slim hopes... Kingsburg could beat most JV High School teams.
Gavin.. Varsity High School... final regular season game tonight then the playoffs next week. Chances? Very slim. We have no defense.
Mason - Reedley J.C. 3 more games in regular season...chances for a League championship? Good. And should that happen a state J. C. Championship? Extremely slim.
HOWEVER.... in grade school football we play in the Tri-County League... two divisions. I have never seen a Tri-County Championship from any of our 3 teams since I've been following them... 12 years ago. This year? Out Pee Wee's have a great chance, (I have no grandson on this team)... our Juniors have a 'good' chance (no grandson on this team either)
Maybe this is the year.
