this off season. A player option to opt out with 2 years and 65 million left on his contract. I'm not sure how much longer you give him, maybe a 4 year? Don't think I'd go longer than that. I find it highly unlikely that he would get any more money than the Dodgers would offer him when they are starting off with the 2 years left as a base for an extension.
They said he was pissed because he didn't pitch in game 1 against ATL...well hes had 2 chances to start game 1's since and it hasn't gone well. My frustration with him has boiled over. Alot of Giant fans talk smack around here about what a failure he is in the post season, and there isn't really anything you can say back.
On another note, I'm kinda surprised that Ryu is starting tonight. He is significantly better with extra rest AND at Dodger stadium, so they are starting him tonight on normal rest on the road. You can also throw in the fact it is going to be in the 40s as well. Rich Hill made alot more sense to me for game 2. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
