So when the TR7 Spider wouldn't start 3 weeks ago, panic generally sets in.. I could smell gas so I knew the pump was working, new carbs, so carbs were good, took the spark plug wire off, pulled the plug and tested for spark - none.. Pulled the main wire off the coil and tested = 12 volts, so good.. So, Decided to just order a new distributor cap and rotor and go from there.. Both came in yesterday, hooked them up and...... barely had the key in the ignition and that baby fired up so fast it actually scared me..
Was that story worth its own post? No... not at all.. Maybe had I single handedly pulled the engine with my bare hands and kicked it a few times and THEN it worked.. I'm just always thrilled when I fixed something - especially electrical - and it doesn't blow up when I fired it up..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
