getting adopted by us HAS been called winning the lottery by references we've given to rescue groups in order to adopt.. they are family - better than family, actually.. so, to ship one off hasn't made either one of us very happy.. We did save her from Death Row in the shelter, and I'm happy and proud of that, but geez I can't stand that we don't have her anymore..
