was Barbaro.. Barbaro, imo, could have been legend had he not shattered his leg in the Preakness.. I really thought he was going to pull through, after all the surgeries and therapy they tried, and was heartbroken when he lost the battle and had to be let go..

I dunno why I became so attached to Barbaro during that time - I know I wasn't the only one, tho..
