Misery....sorry to hear Jimmy.
One thing I have seen down here is call in and put your name on the urgent care list. They call you when you are about 20 minutes or so from being seen, so you have time to get there and do the paperwork. This way you are at home and not exp[osed or exposing others.

I haven't had it in many many years... but I remember it well. About as painful and as miserable a condition as you can get. Started about 9pm last night... at 2am it had gotten so bad I couldn't sleep.
Now the problem... no chance I can get into my doctor... meaning 'urgent care'.... and probably two days in the lobby waiting. Quandary:
Suffer the hell of urgency care waiting OR
Suffer the pain of an ear infection and fight it out....
