I am getting motivated to prepare a pot of chili myself...only problem here in Georgia....it is STILL in the 90's.
I make 2 types of chili;
1. Is a quick easy recipe that is done in a dutch oven.
2. My favorite chili is on the grill, giving the chili a nice smoke flavor
THE PROBLEM; this hip replacement recovery is a boat anchor when it comes to my activity.

How long ago was the surgery?
My wife had 2 hip replacements a year or so back.
Hang in there, as you know it gets easier.
These days a hip replacement is so routine, the medical community has this down.
