I now think Croatia beats Russia.
Also... in the Columbia game England gave me indication that they had something extra... they didn't 'prove' it to me in that game but never the less they did show they can play with the best at least sporadically.
Yet.. I didn't think they'd beat Sweden. And going in to today's game I'm certain I would have picked either Russia or Croatia over England EVEN IF they somehow upset Sweden. That's no longer true.
Frankly, with Pickford at keeper I think the biggest threats to England have been eliminated.
I don't think Russia can keep up with the finesse of England... Croatia yes... but I now give the nod to England.
I'm still on with Belgium. They seem to have it all... IMHO they haven't really stumbled yet.. perhaps a misstep or two, but nothing that could be called a 'stumble'... again, IMHO.
