My wife and I became addicted to the Longmire series. In fact we are on a road trip to Cody Wyoming beginning this Friday. (although the series reportedly was filmed in N.Mexico. )She says of the sheriff "Now he's a real man-a man's man". I have no idea what she is implying or even means by that.
The only problem with the series is (was) that it made Wyoming to be the single most dangerous place in the entire world covered by just a sheriff and two deputies.
You are the very first person I know who apparently watched it. I've asked friends and neighbors but no one I know ever heard of it.
