frankly I'm a bit surprised with some choices.
Brazil is on top now with Germany having been eliminated. No surprise, (to me anyway).
Spain is the 2nd favorite... big surprise to me. I thought they would have fallen somewhat.. they didn't.
Belgium 3rd - surprised that aren't ahead of Spain.
England 4th... actually I think they deserve it, but I am surprised by it.
France 5th - again, surprised... I would have had the top 3 Brazil and France & Belgium tied for 2nd.
Croatia #6... to me this is the team to watch. Easily capable of beating any of the top 5 IMHO.
Then Argentina... THEN Uruguay... makes no sense to me. Behind Argentina?
So my odds - because I'm so good at this.
#1 Brazil. Tied at #2 France & Belgium. Tied at #3 England and Croatia. Tied at #4 Uruguay & Spain. I'm basing that on each team 'at their best'... but I should note: Brazil and Spain I consider most likely to have 'off days'... and likely to happen before the Championship game.
My championship game prediction... (too early for this so I'm not saying they will or even 'should' win it all)... just saying 'as of now'... likely to change.
Belgium - and yes, I honestly think England has a good, if not terrific, chance.
Long shots, (47 to 1 or more), with a 'chance', (IMHO of course).. and in order - Sweden, Russia, Denmark, Switzerland, Mexico.
That leaves unmentioned, (by me), Portugal. I don't know... I have no feel for them really... possibly better than my top 7 but to me they seem like a 'one man team'. Normally I would write them off because of that... BUT... that one player, Ronaldo, is the best in the world and probably capable of winning it all by himself.
And before anyone tries to get 'technical' on me and mention that the odds are 'where the money is going' and not 'top rated' I ALREADY KNOW THAT. It's still fun to play with. - JamesJM
