I got approved by a Dallas rescue group as I had applied for a particular dog, but was told the dog was already on a trial visit with an adopter.. So, in my application I stated why we needed a smaller dog and even sent a photo of Gypsie to tug at some heart strings.. So, I got a reply this afternoon that I had been approved along with a letter stating they just had a dog surrendered to them today that fit our needs.. They sent pics and she's adorable! But, they hafta send her to the vet for a full checkup and all that garbage, so I'm now trying to get her held or paid for or whatever I need to do to make sure we are first in line to adopt her.. I've got my fingers crossed since they actually contacted me about her and she's not in the "available" section yet..
