Are the players, during the game, aware of the 'time left'... to include stoppage time?
Here's why I'm asking...
I consistently see what cannot be described other than 'total lack of urgency' when the game draws to a conclusion.
This game just completed.. Spain vs Iran... on the last inbound pass I thought the Iranian player was trying to decide whether to toss the ball back into play or take a quick run up to the concession stand for a Beer and Pretzel before doing so.
Is there an explanation I'm missing here? - JamesJM
