I like your honesty. Really. My wife is quite the reader. I always like to brag about non-fiction stuff but she got me to believe in fiction-where there are some really fine writers. A little book you might like is about a curmudgeon who has lost his life and tries many, many times to end his life without success. I laughed, cried, and thought it was the best book I had ever read. It was written by Fredrick Backman a swedish author. Then I read another book by Backman about a small town in a forest in Sweden that is in love with its junior hockey team. That IS the best fiction I have ever read. Give both of these a chance.
