Some of you who have been around for a long time may remember that after the 1999 season, after Dick Vermeil announced his retirement, we created a special board for a while where members could post their appreciation and congratulations for the Super Bowl victory and retirement. We compiled all the posts together, and sent them with a letter to coach Vermeil. We eventually received an email response from his wife Carol, to let us know that he had in fact received our posts, unfortunately I no longer have her email. As I remember, she basically said he had read them, but he didn't really use computers. LOL
I have recently been cleaning out some old files and found a copy of the things we sent him. If anyone is interested in reading through them, you SHOULD be able to view or download from the link below. If you have any problems you can pm me or post a reply and I'll figure out what I did wrong.
