The only way I would shop for groceries on line like that is if I was a shut-in and physically unable to get to a grocery store myself or had absolutely no one else who could get them for me. I know people have busy lives but seriously... this is not something I see that needs to be "automated". I like to eyball and examine the food I'm buying myself. I check nutritional value, expiration/sell by dates, etc. And how does it work when it comes to meat, produce, and other perishables? I'd never want someone else to do my choosing for me if I could help it 'cause what they chose for me may not be what I'd choose.
I laugh when he tells me his shopping adventures. He is a gym rat who can get out and about at will. He is one of the leading Amazon shoppers....in the world. He is a huge tech guy who integrated his Echo Dot (Alexis) thing into his entire life. I think he is George Jettson.
I like going to the grocery store and looking at what I will buy....I like the impluse buying of a box of Nutty Buddy's, The smell of the fruits and bakery. A ton of stimuli for me.....I love our Kroger's that have a Starbucks Cafe, the smell is awesome.
