Once, twice occasionally. Usually the week before the job. Mostly to learn new songs that whomever has hired us has requested.

But, the last couple of years busy schedules have prevented rehearsals most of the time. Not a big deal... we have played these songs so many times we could easily play them in our sleep.... and in my case do, occasionally. laughing smiley

Today is a VERY rare situation... the hall we are playing in will be open hours before the job begins so we're going to arrive early, set up, and get a quick rehearsal in before the guests arrive.

Last night I tuned my drums, cleaned them, so I'm ready to go other than loading them in my pickup. THAT's the part old age has made a pain in the #$$. The last couple of years I've coerced my grandsons into going with me to help load, set up, then load again and then unload... BUT.. they have gotten wise and realize it's not really much fun. laughing smiley
