And it's been attempted. . . .with all our scientific advances no one has ever been able to replicate Tiffany glass. . . or Rookwood pottery. If you don't have the original. . . you'll never have it.
And going back even further. . . all the science and all the king's men will never recreate the absolute magnificence of the glass ceiling hovering over the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. . . If I were Quasi Modo, I wouldn't want to leave either and gladly spend it ringing the bell.
