I know what your saying. One great phone app however is the mapping they now have. We travel a lot by car and it is a wonder how they can guide us to an unknown destination and allow us to avoid congestion. My wife is in charge of that while I drive. The ones built into your car often won't be updated.
No matter how you and I feel "IT" is w/ us and really is taking over our lives. I worry that our youth won't ever know what they are missing: reading a hard copy book; looking someone in their eyes while talking; spending time by themselves actually thinking; being outdoors alone; etc. Possibly because I'm an only child I value time by myself "unconnected".
