are you getting better reception with AIRTV app because;
- you are able to position your indoor antenna at a more optimal location
OR
- AIRTV amplifies the signals you are receiving....... . (e.g, are you getting reception from all transmitters from Mariposa to Bakersfield and everything in between, including your sweet spot in Fresno?
I imagine that with AIRTV, channel scanning is no longer required for you. ......
I haven't cut the cord on cable, but I have set up a TV antenna on my roof top (Channel Master 4228) to fuel my TVs in the patio and garage,,,,,
I'm in South San Jose, about 50 miles south of the San Francisco transmitters, thus I point my antenna NE and get all networks, and almost all SF channels but I'd like to also get Monterey stations which is directly south of me but no can do unless I point the antenna in that direction, thus losing the SF channel reception.
I'm wondering if the AIRTV will provide a boost with multidirectional reception power....
I'd love to get them all, Sacto, SF, NAPA and Monterey.......
but I too am pretty happy with getting over the air TV......there is a ton of channels out there.... stuff I never heard off, GRIT TV, ME TV< ESCAPE TV, etc...
I get about 90+ channels but roughly 30% of them broadcast non-English speaking channels, (Korean, Chinese, Spanish etc..) but no Portuguese programming!!!!!
changing channels isn't instant, there is a delay in locking in the signal when flipping channels....... but it's crystal clear and in HDTV...
