As long as he's loving it. And it CAN be done, outside of the Academies. I like following the dream as long as it doesn't become an obsession where all else in life is surrendered. That said... I know what you mean... I'm not sure I'd want one of my grandkid's to surrender to what it takes these days.

Speaking of... my oldest grandson is thinking of giving up football. I'm of two minds. He went into college competing against some very good WR's... worked his butt off and won a starting position in his freshman year. I would like to see him complete his 2nd year where he would reap the fruits of the many years or work. And...

mindset 2: No fear of him being injured anymore, in football anyway. I'm sure you know well the bliss that would mean. - JamesJM
