Where Thor : Ragnarok had a lot of humor in it , Black Panther doesn't really have a whole lot of humor at all,
a little bit , yea , sure , I mean it is still a Marvel movie , but a very different movie from Thor : Ragnarok
I would probably compare this movie closer to Captain America : Winter Soldier , more of a serious movie with a message , there was a couple times I was like , wow , Marvel actually went there , so I have to give Marvel alot of credit , they did a real good job what could be sensitive subject matter
but don't get me wrong , the girl that plays Black Panthers little sister does get a few good jokes here and there
for me anyways , the Black Panther / Chadwick Boseman is probably actually like about the 10th most interesting character in his own film , I found the character or T'Challa / Black Panther a little on the dull side
What sets this film apart though is the supporting cast
There are four women in this film that pretty much steal the movie , they kick some serious ...........
same with Michael B Jordan , pretty much steals every scene he's in
heck , I even found Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis characters more interesting then the main chracter
and I'm not knocking Chadwick Boseman , but he's kind of a mellow , soft spoken kind of guy and just kinda sorta gets over shadowed in this film
and as far as super hero movies I'm kinda with ya , even though I'll always go to all the Marvel MCU films
we rarely go to any of the Fox's X-Men movies , the last one we saw in the theater was Deadpool , other then that , it had been four or five years since we saw one of the X-Men films in the theater , even though I grew up a big fan of the X-Men comics , I haven't cared much at all for the films
same with the DC films , we did go see Wonder Woman in the theater , but other then that , the last DCEU film we watched in the theater was Man of Steel , which sucked
