I just want to add... I'm not, and I doubt if you are either, automatic to dislike a role, or movie, because an actor is playing himself. Sometime it works, and can work to perfection.

Now what is interesting about tonight, (yes, I bought tickets online and I'm going to see Oldman)... is how well I can be objective and see thru the prosthetics. Pretty sure I can and absolutely agree with you about Oldman.. he's a true 'actor'... (also agree his choice in roles hasn't always been good. ).

Of course, I don't WANT to 'judge'... I want to be swept away and simply be a fan thoroughly enjoying himself. That will depend on more than Oldman. - JamesJM
